Players have to manually agree to help you before you get your free voucher to Shovelstrike Quarry, so it might be worth it to pick more than 5 human friends to make sure you get in. They won't receive notifications for your requests, and they'll need to manually enter their friends list to see all their friends that need help getting into Shovelstrike Quarry.

There is incentive for your human friends to check their friends list periodically since they'll get bells if you access the Quarry or 10 bells if they tried to help but you didn't get in.
