All 18 Need for Speed Games, Ranked Worst to Best

Claim the crown as king of the underground as you race for dominance in the first white-knuckle edition of Need for Speed made just for mobile — from the game developer that brought you Real Racing 3.

Build the ride that shows your style with an unbelievable range of cars and customizations. Launch yourself between chaos and control as you hit the pedal and roll into underground street racing. Takedown the competition, up your rep, then kick into more races, more customizations, and more cars.

Make your choices and never look back. This app offers in app purchases. You may disable in app purchases using your device settings. Then trick them out with the hottest customization system on mobile, from spots like the Mod Shop and the Black Market, giving you over 2. Your rides are waiting — take them to the streets to go head-to-head with the competition and prove yourself.

Flip on the nitrous and thrust yourself into another level of adrenaline-fueled driving and drifting. Around every corner is a fresh race as you clash with local crews and local cops.

Dig, drift, drag, and roll your ride to the finish line while outrunning the police on your tail. Because one ride is never enough! Sometimes you wonder what strange fate brought you onto the streets of Blackridge. Was it the fast cars or the promise of the fast track to glory? Every instinct tells you to be on guard. Word on the street is Kim needs a helping hand to uncover a mystery.

You have what it takes to rule the streets, kid? Prove it! The app was very addicting at first. But it also keeps on shutting down after a few minutes, even when I'm in the middle of racing. It is good that I can retrieve items I won after the game shuts down before I can even collect them. But it is worse if it shuts down when I'm about to win.

Also, fuels and tickets go to waste since I used them to start a race. I wasn't even able to finish the race. Then, a few days ago, the game was updated. How come that it was made better for only a few gadgets?

There was a notice about it when I opened the game after the update. The worst is, the update made the game shut down more often. From what I know, updates should make games better, not worse. It starts to get boring because I have to wait for a minute when the game opens since it loads very slow, then I can only spend a few minutes to play. Compared to others apps I played, this takes a lot of time to load before opening.

I am using an iPad mini, are they expecting us to change our gadgets for better experience on playing the game? Pitting my merely customized vw golf to a hoonicorn? Guys you should have done what other online racing games do, and I can knownyou can do better.

Can you guy limit to a certain PR when someone enters a match, like if I enter a match with a PR my opponent wont have much as or less than It is useless for someone like me that arent paying for play to participate on the underground mode but that is my only chance on getting decent parts and blueprints. The game has an excemptional graphics and insane car lineup, but please be more fair to players who are giving their time and effort watching ads as much as those who are playing for pay, we have most screentime than those guys either way.

This is no exception. Yet, it's kind of disappointing that players have yet to experience the "No Limits" part. I understand that everybody could use a break from the game since you've put the fuel system, but there are diehard players who are itching to race again and again for the sake of grinding Blueprints, Parts, and Cash. Not everyone has the Gold to refill tanks, or the cash to invest some Gold.

I am just a recent player, I've payed for some Limited time offers, which is, I don't really mind, but please, Give us the "No Limits" Experience. Some, especially me, are willing to pay for that feature. Thank You. Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled. Screenshots iPhone iPad. The Need For Speed Games

The series released its first title, The Need for Speed , in The most recent game, Need for Speed Heat , was released on November 8, The series has been overseen and had games developed by multiple notable teams over the years including EA Black Box and Ghost Games. The franchise has been critically well received and is one of the most successful video game franchises of all time, selling over million copies of games.

These days, in our endlessly self-referencing culture, we're used to the excitement of an intriguing 'series reboot'. Moore and David Eick vs Battlestar Galactica: such high profile pairings have become a staple element of the modern film and TV industries. They're currently rarer in games, however, where developers are often seen as anonymous and interchangeable technicians, lacking individual styles and idiosyncrasies.

Which happened to get us thinking: in a franchise as vast and diverse as Need for Speed, which games rise to the top? The brand has hardly been a model of consistency over the years, though it's certainly also delivered its share of unforgettable, white-knuckle thrills. Thus, we set about ranking every mainline Need for Speed game. Everything else is fair game. Here's how it all shook out. Between its dull open world, repetitive campaign events, graphics reminiscent of a mobile title and bevy of technical issues, Undercover winds up feeling like a shallow jab at replicating the success of Most Wanted, without any of that title's charm or polish. In fact, it's best described as under-cooked. Which is strange, considering Undercover had been in development for considerably longer than the games that immediately preceded it. And while Payback is still utterly dismal to drive, the misery is compounded by the game's unbearably overwrought card system for vehicle upgrades and heavily scripted police chases fraught with cutscenes. This one hurts.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit – multiplayer hands-on

All of this is under the background of an aggressive police force trying to crack down on these events and going to extreme measures to do so. The map can, however, feel rather empty at times, especially during the day. The former is cash you can use to buy cars and parts for them, with the latter being a measure of how much people respect you, in additional to attracting a more aggressive police presence. The daytime missions are enjoyable but generally pretty tame.
